Mouth tape activated.

You read that right, I’ve got my mouth tape on and I’m ready to call it a night. However, I just wanted to say that I had such an amazing conversation with an old friend today and it was just so refreshing. You know how with old friends you were like a different person? And now like 15 years later, you’re still the same but you’re actually so different? It’s weird how you can do also reconnect like no time has passed. We chatted about parenting our children and becoming the best version of ourselves. Her family is just so supportive and loyal, which makes our friendship so special. We both said it feels like family when we get together, just so comfortable. You don’t always get this type of friendship — so hold on to these types of people if you have any in your life. It’s a very rare and special bond that I am so grateful for. It’s been years since we’ve seen each other and today’s visit made me want to go see her next weekend. And the next weekend. You know?! I also feel like we had such great conversations that I wanted to keep talking! And I feel like this new clarity in my life that I want to share more and learn more. Saturday was an amazing day too celebrating my husband’s 40th with all his friends (who are obviously my friends too)! Anyways, great weekend over here. Happy Sunday night, have a great week!
